The Seminars
This practical seminar on Solving the Handwriting Puzzle will provide the foundation to teaching handwriting with clear,
concise, and positive instruction.   Continuing education will be enjoyable during this seminar with three interactive labs in
the areas of ocular motor evaluation and treatment, hand development, and handwriting evaluation.   Further, specific
treatment techniques for common handwriting deficits such as reversals, copying from the board, confused hand
dominance and slow handwriting rate will be provided.
This Seminar is directed for special education teachers and staff, general education teachers and occupational therapists.

What you will learn
  •   Analyze a handwriting sample and identify five common areas of handwriting dysfunction
  •   Obtain positive tools to enhance your student’s self esteem regarding handwriting
  •   Identify how to give your students’confidence to identify and correct their own handwriting errors
  •   Determine and apply vestibulo-ocular and bilateral integration techniques that impact handwriting deficits
  •   Develop new, efficient, and measurable handwriting goals
  •   Utilize specific treatment strategies to address common handwriting deficits such as hand grasp, reversals,   
    copying from a board, handwriting rate and hand dominance
  •   Identify and be able utilize treatment techniques to address ocular motor deficits that impact handwriting
